Do not open attachments or click on links if you are not expecting them. To the Board of County Commissioners and the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney: This email serves as a formal objection to the closure of PRR #26-112, issued by Jeffcom 911 on March 24, 2026. The 5:00 PM deadline for a response to my previous inquiry has passed without any communication from your offices. To date, I have received zero records that satisfy the specific parameters of my request. Your own Director’s Report from the March 26th meeting (Page 3) confirms that the Records Specialist (Jenny) left on February 5th and that dispatchers are currently being used to "cover the gap" in records. This confirms the administrative failure and lack of a designated Public Records Officer (RCW 42.56.580) which has led to the documented commingling of my investigative records with those of other citizens. Furthermore, your March 26th Agenda (Item XII.A) proves the Board has not yet adopted a public records or fee policy, making your current "Portal-Only" mandate an arbitrary rule with no legal basis. I’m demanding the immediate reopening of PRR #26-112 to address the missing audit logs and metadata. Failure to rectify these inconsistencies will result in a formal report to the State Auditor regarding these documented policy gaps and the bad-faith administration of public records.
