CONDITIONS for Building Permit# :BLD10-00016 •
1.) The project shall adhere to the Best Management Practices (BMPs) to control stormwater,
erosion and sediment during construction. BMPs shall address permanent measures to
stabilize soil exposed during construction, and in the design and operation of stormwater
and drainage control systems.
2.) The project shall comply with Construction Stormwater Pollution Prevention (SWPP)
Elements#1 through#12 of the Department of Ecology's Stormwater Management
Manual for Western Washington to control stormwater, erosion and sediment during
construction. BMPs shall address permanent measures to stabilize soil exposed during
construction, and in the design and operation of stormwater and drainage control systems.
3.) In addition to Jefferson County permit conditions, the project proponent shall comply with
all conditions set forth by the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife through
Hydraulic Project Approval.
4.) This approval does not authorize the alteration of the existing shoreline bank, i.e., rock
walls, walkway, switchback, other than the excavation to install piles and posts to support
the proposed structures. Clearing of vegetation beyond what is necessary to construct the
proposed structures will require Jefferson County review and may require further
permitting.
5.) The Declaration of Restrictive Covenant allowing joint use of the pier, ramp and float for
properties located at 302 & 304 Eaton Road shall be recorded with the Jefferson County
Auditor's office and a copy submitted to the Department of Community Development prior
to final building approval.
6.) Proper disposal of construction debris must be on land in such a manner that debris
cannot enter the water body or cause water quality degradation of state waters. No fill or
other material may be placed in the waters or intertidal areas of Jefferson County.
7.) Lighting shall be shielded to prevent unnecessary glare off-site and to minimize hazards to
navigation. Overhead lighting and utilities on the Pier, Ramp and Float structure is
prohibited.
8.) The applicant shall not extend permanent electrical service onto the dock.
