Statement of Issue: Change Order No. 6 with Seton Construction of Port Townsend,
Washington.
Analysis/Strategic Goals/Pro's Et Con's: This change order includes the addition of
bollards, which were installed around the odor control units; and the paving of two
asphalt aprons on Ness' Corner Road (SR 116).
Fiscal Impact/Cost Benefit Analysis: The amount for Change Order No. 6 is
$28,557.67 (includes WSST at 9.2%). The contract amount will increase from
$5,275,692.53 to $5,304,250.20. NOTE, the costs include both 9.1% and 9.2% WSST.
The project is funded at 100% by both Department of Commerce and Department of
Ecology combined funding.
Recommendation: Public Works recommends that the Board authorize Change Order
No. 6 with Seton Construction, and return one original to Public Works.
