Hello, Thank you for taking my comments about the fireworks survey into consideration. There are two significant issues with the survey that are likely to skew the data. The first is that people can take the survey more than once. The second is that whether you answer YES or NO to question one, you are likely to answer NO to the zones and permits questions. If you say that YES, you want a ban on fireworks, then you don't want either zones or permits. If you say that NO, you do not want a ban on fireworks, then you likely don't want either zones or permits because you don't want fireworks regulated. Question one gets a clear answer. Questions 2 and 3 do not. My concern is that the survey is not accessing the information that the county needs to make an informed decision. Should you decide to re-do the survey, I would be happy to help write questions that would help get the information you want more clearly.
