• OCL has worked with the WA State Hospitality Assoc. on initiatives and proposed legislation impactful to restaurant and
lodging professionals across the Olympic Peninsula during this legislative session in Olympia. Inclusive of legislation for a
sustainable tourism marketing fund. And concluding tenure as the Federal Tourism & Economic Dev. Primary seat for NOAA's
OCNMS AC.
• OCL continues to market and support management of culinary and agritourism festivals around the LOOP. Including the Razor
Clam Fest in Ocean Shores, the seasonal reopening of the Farmers Market in Port Townsend, and organizational and the
return of Oyster Rama at Hama Hama outside Brinnon.
• OCL continues contracting for reprinting and renewing distribution of brochures throughout the WA State Ferry system,at
SEA and PDX airports, and at peak visitor facilities along the 1-5 corridor from Vancouver BC to Vancouver WA.
• The Federal tensions continue to depress Canadian and international travel. Domestic travel is impacted by eroding
consumer confidence as unsanctioned war increases drive-market gas prices to record levels.Adding to no focused Jefferson
Co.tourism efforts, and all contribute to lower traveler numbers
