County Notices ~ PublicH~ JEFFERSON GOUNTY CONSERVAl'ION FUTURES FUND PROGRAM Citizen Oversight Committee Vacancies Open Interest Seat, District 2 Seat Conservation Futures Fund Citizen Oversight Committee members make recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners on the selection and funding of open space projects utilizing the Conservation Futures Fund. The Board of County Commissioners seeks representation on the committee from each commissioner district and a broad spectrum of interests. There are currently two vacancies on the committee: One for a citizen to represent an "Open Interest/ and one to represent commissioner District 2. The project is funded through a grant agreement between Jefferson County and the Washlngton State Recreation and Conservation Office (RCO) Salmon Recovery Funding Board (SRFB). The primary deliverable is a construction-ready design package including all necessary local, state, and federal permit applications to restore critical spawning and rearing habitat for Hood Canal summer chum and Puget Sound Chinook salmon.
