Re: Shoreline Permit Exemption, Bulkhead Repair
Dear Mr. Benn:
I have reviewed your request on behalf of Dave Reynolds
to repair an existing bulkhead situated on the shoreline by
Hood Canal within Lot 4, Bridgehaven Division 1. The proposal
is considered exempt from the permit requirements of the
Jefferson -Port Townsend Shoreline Management Master Program
in that it is considered normal repair of an existing
lawful structure (Subsection 3.402.4).
This exemption is granted with the condition that the
repaired bulkhead and backfill shall be no higher and
situated no further waterward than the existing bulkhead.
