NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Jefferson County Auditor’s Office is looking for individuals to serve on “Against” committees to write statements opposing proposed resolutions submitted
by Quilcene Fire District No. 2, Brinnon Fire District No. 4- Prop. 1 & Prop. 2 and Quilcene Cemetery District No. 2 that will be on the August 4, 2026 Special Election Ballot.
The statements will appear in the Jefferson County Local Voters’ Pamphlet and the Auditor believes it is in the voters’ best interest to have both sides represented.
A FOR committee has been formed and a FOR statement will be published in the Local Voters’ Pamphlet if a statement is submitted by the submittal deadline.

soon as possible. Statements must be submitted by Friday, May 8th at 4:30 pm.
