Call to Order: Chairman Taylor called the meeting to order called the meeting to order at 2:00 p.m.
in the presence of Member Mark McCauley via Teams, Secretary Kristen Bennett, Lindsay Gonzalez
and Undersheriff Brandon Przygocki.
Public Comment: No comments received.
Approval of Minutes: Member McCauley Motioned to approve the meeting Minutes from March
24th, 2026, as presented. Chairman Taylor seconded the Motion. The Motion carried.
New Business: None
Old Business:
1. Corrections Sergeant Promotional Examination Update: Secretary Bennett reported that three
candidates are eligible for the examination scheduled for May 23, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. in the Sheriff’s
Conference Room.
2. Continuation of discussion: Undersheriff Przygocki requests to lower the minimum age for
Corrections Deputies from 21 to 18: The Undersheriff presented documentation from multiple
counties that employ corrections officers under the age of 21. Chairman Taylor and Member
McCauley discussed the possibility and requested input from the Risk Pool regarding this
consideration. The discussion has been tabled for the following meeting on May 26, 2026.

Notice of Adjournment: Chair Dan Taylor adjourned the regular meeting at 2:15 p.m. until regular
meeting scheduled May 26, 2026.
