Night lane closures on US 101 in Port Angeles coming for bridge construction June 2
PORT ANGELES – Nighttime travelers on US 101 in Port Angeles should take note of upcoming lane closures.
7 p.m. Tuesday, June 2 through 7 a.m. Wednesday, June 3:
* One lane in each direction of US 101 will close between South Brook Avenue and North Baker Street
During this time, contractor crews working for the Washington State Department of Transportation will set girders on the new bridge over Lees Creek <https://links-1.govdelivery.com/CL0/https:%2F%2Fws

This work could be delayed and rescheduled due to weather.
The girders are large support beams that will form the second half of the new bridge. Once girders are installed, crews will build the rest of the bridge.
