EADS, County Auditor for Jefferson County, Washington, and Supervisor of Elections, do hereby certify that the following is a full, true and correct statement of the canvass made by the Jefferson County Election Board, on the 21st day of August, 1961, of the returns certified to . the County Auditor for Jefferson County, Washington, by the election officials of the twenty three voting precincts of the special election held in Port Town- send, Precincts 1 to 7, Brinnon, Center, Chimacum, Coyle, Gardiner, Hadlock, Irondale, Leland, Nordland, Port Discovery, Port Ludlow, Quilcene I, Quilcene II, Shine, Tarboo, and Woodman precincts, on the 15th day of August, 1961, and in addition the ballots of those qualified electors voting absentee, in conjunction with the Order of the Board of County Commissioners dated June 9, 1961; at which election there was submitted to the qualified voters in the above precincts for ratification or rejection, the following proposition: PROPOSITION: "Shall a public hospital district, to be designated as Public Hotpital District No. 2 of Jefferson County, be formed within the boundaries described as: All that portion of Jefferson County, Washington lying within Ranges 1, 2 and 3 West, and Range 1 East, of the Willamette Meridian?
