Public Works Board opens Traditional programs funding cycle for fiscal year 2027
Almost $230 million is available for community construction, planning or emergency infrastructure projects
Applications are now open for state fiscal year 2027 Public Works Board construction, pre-construction and emergency funding. The PWB will award up to:
* $202 million for qualifying construction projects
* $20 million for qualifying pre-construction/planning projects
* $7.5 million for qualifying emergency projects
How to apply
Construction funding applications are due by July 31, and awards are anticipated this fall. Pre-construction and emergency funding applications are open continuously until funds are
exhausted.
Eligible applicants are cities, counties, special purpose districts and quasi-municipal organizations.
