CA LL T O O R DER : Port Townsend Rotating Chair Owen Rowe called the meeting to order after
establishing a quorum. Other agencies present also called their respective meetings to order.
P U BLIC CO M M EN T PE R IO D : ICG members listened to two comments from the public.
APP R OV A L O F M IN U TE S: Member Hasse moved to approve the February 19, 2026 meeting
minutes as presented. Member Eisenhour seconded the motion. The motion carried.
DISC U SSIO N re: IC G econom ic developm ent fram ew ork - fa cilitated discussion of desired
outcom es -A ngela Glore, N orth Olym pic Developm ent Council: North Olympic Development
Council (NODC) Staff member Angela Glore led members into an interactive workshop, to work on
creating a vision for Jefferson County where businesses, organizations, and community members are
connected through trust, collaboration, and place based investment, working together to create locally
rooted, sustainable prosperity that supports both people and the systems they depend on.
A G EN CY RO U N D TA BLE - Jurisdiction Updates:
City of Port Tow nsend
• To celebrate Community Connectivity, an event at the Golf Park this Saturday, April 25,
2026 will feature free ice cream, music, and a 2045 time capsule project where residents can
submit "postcards for the future"
Jefferson C ounty
• M onday, April 27, 2026 BO CC w ill hear a pro posed 20-cent Parks and Recrea~· n levy
w hich w ould fu nd county-w ide parks pro gram s, the fairgrounds, and 4-H RAF" - ~
• Shared updates on the Com prehensive Plan, noting that the updated hearing dra i ' /
currently available online fo r public review .
• The final C om prehensive Plan, w hich includes an economic developm ent vision for 2045, is
expected to finalize in early July

• The PU D is hosting an Arbor Day celebra tion on Friday A pril 24, 2026 at 310 Four Corners
featur ing a giveaw ay of young, utility-friendly trees, and educational presentations focusing
on tree care, fire safety, and energy conservation

• Pra ised the C ounty fo r expediting a perm it that keeps their boat launch reconstru ction
project on schedule
• Seton C onstru ction w ill build the m ain berth project after the W ooden Boat Festival
• The Port is concurrently managing severa l other initiatives on the western end of the
boatyard, including a tra il realignm ent, stormw ater managem ent, and an estuary project
• Crew s are w orking on the w eekend to rearrange vessels to accom modate a packed schedule
in a com pletely fu ll boatyard

• U pcom ing Blessing of the Fl eet event
