The Jefferson County Board of Commissioners has officially adopted Resolution No. 26-0504-26R, declaring numerous items of county-owned equipment and vehicles as surplus. This action
follows a public hearing held on May 4, 2026, and authorizes the sale of these items via public online auction in accordance with RCW 36.35.080 throughout the 2026 calendar year.
The surplus inventory includes 21 vehicles and pieces of equipment, as well as one boat and trailer, from departments including Public Works, the Health Department, and Juvenile Services.
Notable items include Ford Escapes, pickup trucks, a Ford Focus, Crown Victorias, Dodge Chargers, Volvo tractor trailers, a snowplow, and various utility vehicles and attachments. Many
of these items are in working condition.
The public will have the opportunity to purchase these items through online consignment auction services provided by GovDeals, a platform widely used by government agencies for surplus
auctions. Listings will be posted incrementally throughout the year. Information regarding item availability, inspection opportunities, and bidding procedures will be provided directly
on the auction website at:

3 Commissioner Greg Brotherton.
