County Board of Commissioners for ·

in the Commissioners' Chambers,
County Courthouse, 1820 Jefferson
Street, Port, Townsend, WA 98368
(HYBRID). Notice of said hearing is to
be published in the official newspaper
of Jefferson County.
This hearing consists of changes to
Jefferson County Code Chapter 8.75
regarding Fireworks regulations in the
County.

The Washington State Parks and
Recreation Commission, the
Commission, has applied for a
National. Pollutant Discharge
Elimination System (NPDES)
Permit in accordance with the
provisions of Chapter 90.48
Revised Code of Washington
(RCW), Chapter 173-216
Washington Administrative
Code (WAC), and Federal Clean
Water Act.
The Commission presently
owns a membrane bioreactor
with ultraviolet disinfection
wastewater treatment plant.
The plant is designed to handle
a maximum monthly flow of
0.025 million gallons per day.
The wastewater, following
treatment, must meet the
requirements of the Washington
State Water Pollution Control
Act (Chapter 90.48 RCW) and
applicable regulations for a
permit to be issued.
Following evaluation of the
application and other available
information, a draft permit has
been developed which would
allow the discharge of treated
municipal wastewater from Fort
Flagler State Park Wastewater
Treatment Plant to Admiralty
Inlet.
A tentative determination has
been made on the effluent
limitations and special permit
conditions that will prevent
and control pollution. A final
determination will not be
made until all timely comments
received in response to this
notice have been evaluated.
