Do not open attachments or click on links if you are not expecting them. Hello Commissioners, I am writing to inform you that I strongly object to the potential transfer of Protection Island to the Tribe. It took major grass root efforts and an act of congress to protect this precious wildlife refuge and its surrounding waters. The topography and surrounding nutritious waters are ideal for the birds and marine life. The management agreement of the island by the governmental agencies and tribe is working well and has been a success! So why would anyone wish to change this arrangement? There can only be one reason! Once the island has been transferred it can never be taken back or protected. The tribe will do with it as they please and enlarge their money making enterprise. Who can blame them? It is up to us to keep this island protected forever for the birds and marine life which is struggling mightily given climate change and the increasing human population! Please stop supporting the transfer of protection island to the tribe! Thank you, Susanne Feller 970-683-9370 370 Victoria Loop Port Townsend
