The attached Preliminary Design Contract renews the term to 3/31/2012 and adds wetland delineation activities to the scope. Analysis/Strategic GoalslPro's 8: Con's: The renewed contract carries forward goals and strategies established in current County plans and policies. Fiscal Impact/Cost Benefit Analysis: As part of required environmental work, scope and budget of $63,380 is added to the preliminary design budget. This scope covers Critical Areas delineation, mapping and reports to comply with Section 18.22 of Jefferson County Code, as well as state B: federal laws. The contract amount is $599,396 and is accounted for within the 2011 work plan and budget. Recommendation: The Department of Public Works recommends the Board approve and sign the three contract copies enclosed, and return to the Department of Public Works for further processing.
