John,
If you've already made a gift to the Sierra Club PAC of Washington State <https://click.emails.sierraclub.org/?qs=ABB7InYiOjEsImQiOjQ5MTl9AAcAAAAAAzto61c-L6q0sGzbk1z7AL31Md3y0GEZuRpZvZ5wdASdSEkptxqz9
JM1BpI-oRFmSNGW85oX2w30NlhX_QmIRfxG55Ad_GpG6-Im> —thank you. You're already part of what makes this work possible, and we're grateful.
If you haven't yet had a chance, I hope you'll take a moment to read this, because I want to share something important: what winning this fall actually looks like.
Elections have consequences. For example, when we elect the right people to Olympia, real things change for real Washingtonians. Here are just a few of the possibilities within reach:

Solar energy for everyone, not just homeowners.
A "balcony solar" bill would let renters and apartment dwellers plug small solar panels directly into their homes. There’s no roof access or installer required. Right now, clean energy
is largely the privilege of people who own a house and can afford a large system. This bill changes that, dramatically expanding access to solar power for the millions of Washingtonians
who rent.

Making data centers work for Washington, not against us.
Data centers are proliferating across our state, consuming enormous amounts of energy and water. Without strong rules, those costs get passed on to ratepayers and our climate pays the
price. Our endorsed candidates are committed to passing nation-leading regulations that safeguard our local water sources, ensure this booming industry meets our climate standards,
and protect Washingtonians' wallets.

A fighting chance for salmon.
Our salmon face threats from many directions, and one of the most insidious is 6PPD, a chemical in tire rubber that washes off roads into streams killing coho salmon before they can
spawn. Legislation targeting 6PPD is exactly the kind of targeted, science-based action that could meaningfully improve the odds for salmon recovery throughout Washington. Our candidates
will fight to pass it.
These aren't distant dreams. They're bills that can move—with the right people in office.
That's what your contribution makes possible. Every dollar we raise goes toward electing the candidates who will show up for Washington’s future.
