Rapid Capital Housing Acquisition Program
To Whom it May Concern:
As a Jefferson County Commissioner and Chair of Jefferson County’s Housing Fund Board, I
acknowledge and support the Sawyer Culberson Project of Save the Kid’s application to the
Washington State Department of Commerce under the Rapid Capital Housing Acquisition (RCHA)
program. This application seeks funding to support the rapid conversion of an ADU and residence
located at 191 Old Schoolhouse Rd into transitional housing centered on women at risk and survivors.
This proposed project aligns with local efforts and plans to expand safe, community-based housing
solutions for vulnerable residents and reflects the importance of increasing housing stability, safety,
and supportive environments within Jefferson County. I applaud and support the Sawyer Culberson
Project’s presence and contributions in neighboring counties and look forward to working with them
as they expand their service in Jefferson County.
