Support local family affected by a workplace accident
On June 18, 2026, Raul suffered a serious accident while working in Port Angeles. Raul works in drywall construction, and while on the job, the ladder he was standing on suddenly gave
way. He fell and landed on both of his hands, breaking both wrists.
As a result of his injuries, Raul now faces surgery and a long recovery. Because his livelihood depends entirely on the use of his hands, he is unable to work and will be without income
for the foreseeable future.
Our family is now facing mounting medical expenses, lost wages, and the daily challenges that come with caring for someone recovering from such severe injuries. This has been an overwhelming
and unexpected hardship, but we are hopeful that with the support of our community, Raul can focus on healing without the added burden of financial stress.
Any donation, no matter the amount, will help with medical costs, household expenses, and basic necessities during his recovery. If you are unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser

Apoya a una familia local afectada por un accidente laboral
El 18 de junio de 2026, Raúl sufrió un grave accidente mientras trabajaba en Port Angeles. Raúl se dedica a la instalación de paneles de yeso y, mientras realizaba su trabajo, la escalera
en la que se encontraba se rompió de repente. Cayó y aterrizó sobre ambas manos, fracturándose ambas muñecas.
Como consecuencia de sus lesiones, Raúl ahora debe someterse a una cirugía y enfrentar una larga recuperación. Dado que su sustento depende por completo del uso de sus manos, no puede
trabajar y se quedará sin ingresos en el futuro inmediato.
Nuestra familia ahora se enfrenta a gastos médicos cada vez mayores, la pérdida de ingresos y los desafíos diarios que implica cuidar a alguien que se recupera de lesiones tan graves.
Esta ha sido una dificultad abrumadora e inesperada, pero tenemos la esperanza de que, con el apoyo de nuestra comunidad, Raúl pueda enfocarse en su recuperación sin la carga adicional
