HomeMy WebLinkAbout110725MS DRAFT MINUTES Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (LTAC) Special Meeting Minutes November 7, 2025 – 10:00 a.m. Jefferson County Courthouse – Commissioners Chambers, 1820 Jefferson Street, Port Townsend, WA (HYBRID) Members: Chair Heather Dudley-Nollette, Amy Neil, Kevin Wooley, Dan Ventura and Tara McCauley Staff: LTAC Clerk Adiel McKnight CALL TO ORDER: Chair Dudley-Nollette called the meeting to order at the appointed time. Members Wooley and Ventura were present. Member McCauley joined the meeting shortly after it began. PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD: Chair Dudley-Nollette opened the floor for public comments, and four comments were received. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Special Meeting Minutes of July 29, 2025: Member Wooley moved to approve the Special Meeting Minutes of July 29, 2025 as presented. Member Ventura seconded the motion. Chair Dudley-Nollette called for a vote on the motion. The motion carried. Member McCauley abstained. DISCUSSION re: Review RCW requirements regarding final award recommendations: The Committee discussed RCW 3.25. After the discussion, there was no action was taken. DISCUSSION re: Review LTAC 2026 award recommendations: The Committee discussed the 2026 awarded amount of $900,000 from their October 28, 2025 meeting. Chair Dudley-Nollette totaled the amounts after that meeting and was $361 over the $900,000. After the discussion, Member Ventura moved to increase the recommendation from a wearable amount from $900,000 even to $900,361. Member McCauley seconded the motion. Chair Dudley-Nollette opened the floor for public comments, and one comment was received. Chair Dudley-Nollette called for a vote on the motion. The motion carried. FUTURE MEETING AGENDA ITEMS: Not discussed. CLOSING REMARKS: Not discussed. ADJOURNMENT: Chair Dudley-Nollette adjourned the meeting at 2:50 p.m. until the next regular or special meeting as properly noticed.
