During the second quarter (April through June 2026), the Quilcene Fair and Parade used LTAC
grant funds to support planning, promotion, outreach, administrative costs, and other eligible
tourism-related activities for the 2026 event. Total LTAC expenditures for the quarter were $639.36.
These expenditures supported ongoing efforts to market the event, recruit sponsors and vendors,
and increase visitation to Jefferson County. Supporting invoices, receipts, and financial
documentation are maintained in accordance with Jefferson County LTAC grant requirements.

This report and any attachments may be subject to disclosure as a public record under the Public Records Act, RCW

and other expenditures authorized under your Agreement with Jefferson County. Upon reasonable notice, you must be
able to provide access to County or State representatives to audit those records.

Financial Update
The Quilcene Fair & Parade Committee received $10,000.00 in approved LTAC funding to support tourism
promotion for the 2026 Quilcene Fair & Parade.
As of June 30, 2026:

Funds expended during the second quarter were used for approved tourism promotion and event
preparation activities, including marketing materials and other eligible promotional expenses associated
with increasing visitor attendance to the 30th Annual Quilcene Fair & Parade.
The organization remains on budget and expects the majority of LTAC-funded marketing expenditures to
occur during the third quarter as advertising campaigns, promotional distribution, and event marketing
efforts expand leading up to the September 19, 2026 event.

Executive Summary
During the second quarter, the Quilcene Fair & Parade Committee made significant progress in preparing
for the 30th Annual Quilcene Fair & Parade, scheduled for September 19, 2026. Efforts remained focused on
increasing tourism, attracting overnight visitors, expanding regional awareness, and strengthening
partnerships with local businesses and community organizations.
Planning activities accelerated throughout the quarter, with an emphasis on marketing development,
sponsor outreach, vendor recruitment, parade participation, and community engagement.
Accomplishments
Marketing & Promotion
Developed updated promotional materials for the 30th Annual Quilcene Fair & Parade.
Designed event posters, banners, and digital graphics for distribution.
Continued preparation of print and online advertising campaigns.
Expanded outreach through community organizations and local tourism partners.
Increased social media presence to promote event awareness throughout the Olympic Peninsula.
Sponsorship Development
Created and distributed sponsorship packets to local and regional businesses.
Continued outreach to returning sponsors while recruiting new business partners.

Financial Update
During the second quarter, LTAC funding has been utilized for approved tourism promotion and event
marketing activities in accordance with the approved funding request.
Expenses have included planning, promotional material development, advertising preparation, and other
eligible marketing activities supporting tourism-related outreach.
A detailed financial accounting and supporting documentation will accompany the reimbursement request.
Goals for Third Quarter
Priorities for July through September include:
Launch regional advertising campaign.
Finalize entertainment schedule.
Complete vendor registration.
Complete parade registrations.
Increase volunteer recruitment.
Install event signage.
Distribute promotional materials throughout the region.
Continue sponsor recognition and community outreach.
Finalize event logistics.
Successfully host the 30th Annual Quilcene Fair & Parade on September 19, 2026.
Expected Tourism Impact
The committee anticipates continued growth in attendance for the 2026 event through expanded
marketing efforts funded by LTAC. Increased attendance is expected to generate additional overnight
lodging stays and increased spending at local businesses throughout the Quilcene area.
The Quilcene Fair & Parade remains an important tourism event that showcases the community while
supporting Jefferson County's local economy and hospitality industry.
