General Chamber Meetings are held the 3rd Monday, monthly, at 5:30 pm and alternate between Quilcene and Brinnon. This month’s meeting is on July 20th at the Brinnon Community Center,
306144 US Highway 101, Brinnon, WA 98320.

The Jefferson County Planning Commission has regularly scheduled meetings on the second and fourth Wednesday (July 8 cancelled & 22) of each month beginning at 5:30 PM. The meetings
are currently held at the Jefferson County Transit Center at 63 Four Corners Road, Port Townsend, WA 98368.
The Board of County Commissioners will hold a public hearing to receive community feedback on the County’s 2025 Comprehensive Plan on July 6 at 11 AM. More information can be found at

North Hood Canal Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a candidate forum on July 14, 6 - 8 pm at the Brinnon Community Center for candidates running in the upcoming primary election. The
goal is to provide a fair, efficient, and useful opportunity for South Jefferson County voters to hear directly from candidates on issues that matter to our area. Join in person, or

The NHCCC was proud to have our entire Board of Directors volunteer at this year’s ShrimpFest, supporting one of our community’s most beloved annual traditions. Board members dedicated
their time throughout the event, helping ensure a successful and enjoyable experience for attendees. Our Executive Director, Andrew Schwartz, also returned as the crowd-favorite “Carnival
Barker” at the Dunk Tank, enthusiastically collecting donations and encouraging festival-goers to dunk this year’s participants. We are grateful to everyone who volunteered and helped
make ShrimpFest another memorable celebration of community spirit.
