CHIP application workshop set for July 16
Commerce is hosting an application workshop on July 16 for the Connecting Housing to Infrastructure Program <https://links-2.govdelivery.com/CL0/https:%2F%2Fwww.commerce.wa.gov%2Fgrowth-management%2F
housing-planning%2Fchip%2F/1/0101019f3d349a16-6990c77c-8e47-4dea-9ada-e5d171fe7f3e-000000/J-KdbBgnUA3l0BV5R_Nb6iMo8jhoQHN44-yv2n0aNBA=452> (CHIP), which will open an application cycle
later this month.
CHIP is a competitive grant program that helps local governments encourage the creation of affordable housing by reducing or covering the cost of water, sewer and stormwater infrastructure
associated with development.
The application workshop will be hosted virtually and provide information and guidance for potential applicants. Jurisdictions interested in applying for CHIP are encouraged to attend,
though attendance is not required to apply.
