EXECUTIVE SESSION: An Executive Session was scheduled from 1:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Chair Brotherton announced that the Executive Session will be held from 1:30 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. regarding Attorney-Client Privilege, Potential/Actual Litigation under exemption RCW 42.30.110(1)(i) as outlined in the Open Public Meetings Act. The County's first opioid settlement funding round distributed about$200,000 through a Behavioral Health Advisory Committee (BHAC) led RFP process. Ten applications from six organizations were reviewed, and awards supported law enforcement diversion,treatment, transportation, youth prevention, and harm reduction programs. The process drew some criticism, particularly from Discovery Behavioral Health(DBH). The Commissioners recognized the challenges of a first-time funding cycle and identified opportunities to improve future round, including refining of the RFP. Commissioner Dudley-Nollette seconded the motion. Chair Brotherton called for public comments on the motion, and no comments were received. He called for a vote on the motion. In response to the comment received, the letter will include the name of the Federal Transit Administrator. Chair Brotherton called for a vote on the motion.
