The current federal government is not a protective caretaker of our public lands. They have chosen to exploit rather than protect and we cannot guarantee there will be any change in
this sentiment.
The Jamestown S’Klallam tribal government has proven to be consistently more established, stable, and dedicated to environmental protection than our federal government.
I do not support any petition that keeps the Federal Government involved with Protection Island and Dungeness National Wildlife Refuges. Transfer of ownership to Jamestown S’Klallam
tribal government is in the best interest of these natural resources.
