Recently we sent you an e-mail inviting you to participate in a Nationwide Survey of Opinion Leaders. If you already replied, we thank you. If you have not yet had the time to reply,
please now participate in the survey.
You are part of an elite group in this country, influencing public policy discussion for a nation faced with many diverse and complex challenges. Because of your position and accomplishments,
it is undeniable that the issues which you devote your time and effort to are highly significant. The select group, of which you are a part, comes from all walks of life: Government,
Business, the Arts, Sciences and Academia. The issues which should be in the forefront of the nation’s agenda vary in degree and importance, in part, because of your perspective.
With this in mind, we ask for your participation in this survey. This will help establish which policy issues you judge should head America’s agenda today. The Nationwide Survey on Important
Issues and Media Influence has been conducted for over 30 years. The results are monitored closely because the priorities you set impact policy decision affecting the future.
In addition to including important issues of the day, this survey also measures the media, which you more than likely may use to gain further knowledge of public issues.
Given your position, your response is of great significance. While your individual answers will remain strictly confidential, they will be used in combination with others in your peer
group to make your views known.
We realize your time is valuable and that you might consider this somewhat tedious. However, for your convenience, we’ve grouped the issues by subject matter, thereby making your participation
relatively effortless.
This is also an opportunity to help others. As a small token of our appreciation, we will make a $10.00 donation to one of three charities listed at the end of the questionnaire. They
are the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Meals On Wheels America. You will be given the chance to indicate your choice of charity once you
complete the survey.
In addition, all respondents who fully complete the survey will be entered into a drawing to win one (1) of five (5) Amazon.com Gift Cards, each valued at $100. Winners will be contacted
by email.
