Hello, on July 9 my partner and I blew out a tire on the Dabob P.O. Road after turning from the Coyle Road. Two
people stopped and asked if we needed help, but we said no thanks. Then a Jefferson County Health Department
truck passed, asked if we needed help, which we also declined. They continued onto the Coyle Road, but then
turned back and pulled up behind us and the two folks (Becca and Patrick) got out and again offered help, for which
I was at that point grateful. First, they put out caution lights behind their truck, and then asked again if they could
help. I am 80 years old. My partner is 85 years old. And yes, we probably would have been okay, but their caring
enough to stick around until the new tire was on (which Patrick helped attach), the caution lights they added, and
just their presence, made me feel safer. Becca is with the Health Department, and Patrick is with an adjacent health
organization (Discovery Health Organization?). They were with us for about 20 minutes, and I so appreciated their
gentle support and help. I thanked them then, but I just wanted you to know how appreciative I am that such caring
