Final Plat Approval for the Jorg Short Plat
STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Requesting final approval by the Board per RCW 58.1 7.1 90 to
divide approximately 41.1 acre parcel into two 20.55 acre parcels for residential use. The parcel
is zoned Rural Residential 1 :20.
ANALYSIS: Notice of Application for the short plat was mailed to the lot owner and the
adjacent property owners within 300 ft. of the proposed Jorg Short Plat on November 26,2007.
Notice of Application was published on November 26, 2007 edition of the Port Townsend-
Jefferson County Leader. Applicant posted the site on November 27, 2007. Attached is a copy
of the staff report.
The lots are served by two-party wells and individual on-site sewage disposal systems. The
parcels have access from EagIemount Road which was approved by Jefferson County Public
Works.
Final approval by the BoCC will serve the public use and interest and provide adequate provision
for maintaining the public health, safety, and general welfare.
ALTERNATIVES: The requested action is mandatory per RCW 58.17.190.
FISCAL IMPACT: There are no identifiable fiscal impacts related to this request for final plat
approval.
RECOMMENDATION: Per State Law, the department requests the BoCC grant final short
plat approval.
