Hi there,
My name is Herman Akins. I'm an Army veteran and founder of Venture Wellness Lab, which developed Forge AI, an educational claims-intelligence platform designed to support veterans throughout
the disability claims process.
I want to be very clear that Forge AI was not built to replace Veteran Service Officers or existing county systems. It was built to complement them.
Veterans often arrive at VSO appointments with extensive medical records, VA correspondence, C-Files, statements, and questions. Forge AI helps veterans organize and better understand
that information before and during their work with a VSO.
The goal is simple: a better-prepared veteran and more organized information for the VSO to work from, while preserving the VSO's professional judgment, accredited role, and existing
county workflow.
Jefferson County's veteran-service mission is why I believe Forge AI may be relevant to your team.
Venture Wellness Lab is currently exploring controlled county-level pilots where VSO professionals can evaluate Forge AI, provide feedback, and help determine where the technology genuinely
adds value.
