I am writing to you today from beautiful Chelan County where we just wrapped our third quarter board meeting <https://t.e2ma.net/click/lw944n/18hk51mb/l8y03zc> in downtown Wenatchee. Yesterday was a particularly exciting day as the board adopted our first-ever Local Road Program <https://t.e2ma.net/click/lw944n/18hk51mb/10z03zc> project ranked array. This morning, we were able to check out several impressive Chelan and Douglas County projects <https://t.e2ma.net/click/lw944n/18hk51mb/ht003zc> . A special thank you to Chelan County Engineer (and CRAB Board member) Eric Pierson, PE and Douglas County Engineer Aaron Simmons, PE for making us feel so welcome in their home counties. It was a lovely end to two busy weeks developing our path forward over the next five years with the staff and board. Over the next several months we will publish a series of articles taking a deeper dive into the goals and strategies adopted in the strategic plan, as well as the activities and work associated with reaching those goals. The strategic plan is meant to pave the way for the next 3-5 years at CRAB and we want to continue ongoing dialogue with you, our stakeholders, to ensure we are heading in the right direction.
