During the second quarter, LTAC funds continued to support staffing that enhances the visitor experience and
promotes Jefferson County as a cultural tourism destination. Funds helped cover personnel costs for the Director
of Research and Collections, Devel opment and Stewardship Coordinator, and Visitor Services staff.
These positions supported ongoing exhibit maintenance and interpretation, marketing and promotion, visitor
services, and tourism programming. We promoted exhibitions, tours, and public programs through print
advertising in regional travel guides, production of a 60-second promotional video, printing and distribution of
regional rack cards, digital communications, and media outreach to attract visitors from outside Jefferson County.
The Director of Research and Collections maintained high-quality exhibits and interpretive content that
encourage longer visits and repeat attendance. Visitor Services staff welcomed guests, provided information
about local attractions, processed admissions, and ensured a positive visitor experience. By supporting these key
operational roles, LTAC funding helped sustain the museum as a year-round cultural destination, contributing to
the local tourism economy and encouraging visitors to extend their time in Jefferson County.
