THE NORTH PACIFTC COAST MARINE RESOURCES COMMITTEE FOR
WESTERN CLALLAM AND JEFFERSON COUNTIES
THE JEFFERSON COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS AND THE CLALLAM COI.INTY
BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS find as follows:
I . The University of Washington staff members from the Olympic Natural Resources Center
(ONRC) and V/ashington Sea Grant regularly participate in the North Pacific Coast Marine
Resources Committee meetings and events and provide invaluable expertise and program support.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners and the
Clallam County Board of Commissioners in consideration of the above finding of fact:
l. Do hereby amend Clallam County Commission Resolution 50-09 adopted on September 15, 2009
and Jefferson County Commission Resolution 78-2009 adopted on September 8,2009, which
created the North Pacific Coast Marine Resources Committee so that non-voting seats on that
Committee shall include the following state and federal government agencies:
Olympic Coast National Marine Sanctuary
Olympic National Park
Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife
U.S. Coast Guard
University of Washington Olympic Natural Resources Center
Washington Sea Grant
