Reminder: Portion of SR 116 in Jefferson County closes Aug. 24
PORT HADLOCK-IRONDALE β A reminder to travelers who use State Route 116 in Jefferson County that part of the highway will soon close for construction.

1c89ba15131d-000000/A4IejnE-Jr6TecjdgvA0oeKAzOCYVdF4foiFKbWNPyE=452> . The highway will remain closed around the clock between Shotwell Place and Chimacum Creek Drive. Travelers will

The closure allows workers to remove both directions of highway, excavate the existing culvert, and replace it with a culvert that allows fish to swim under the road. The work will be
completed when crews repave the highway and add fresh lane lines.
