SUBJECT: ADVISORY COMMITTEE APPOINTMENTS (3)re: Jefferson County
Marine Resources Committee (MRC); District 2 Alternate, Rebecca Berger;
District 1, Kathryn Hoerauf; District 1 Alternate, Liz Cummings
STATEMENT OF ISSUE:
There were three open positions for District 1, District 1 Alternate and District 2 Alternate positions on the
Jefferson County Marine Resources Committee. These positions were advertised in the paper and three
applicants applied.
Letters of interest were received from Rebecca Berger,Kathryn Hoerauf and Liz Cummings.These applicants
were approved by the MRC.
ANALYSIS:
It is recommended that the Board of County Commissioner's approve the following appointments:
1. Rebecca Berger—District 2 Alternate Representative, serving unexpired term ending on May 2, 2026
2. Kathryn Hoerauf—District 1 Representative, serving unexpired term ending on March 10, 2029
3. Liz Cummings—District 1 Alternate Representative, serving an unexpired term ending on
October 23, 2027
RECOMMENDATION
Approve the letters regarding the appointments to the Jefferson County Marine Resources Committee:
1. Rebecca Berger—Appointment for District 2 Alternate
2. Kathryn Hoerauf—Appointment for District 1
3. Liz Cummings—Appointment for District 1 Alternate
