Hi Adiel,
Two things. First, I think the Agenda for tomorrow's meeting was supposed to say approval of the minutes from October 2025 not 2026.
And second, regarding the discussion and potential action re Destination Marketing position and budget:
If this is approved and the the county sets aside these amounts for staffing and marketing and the position is not filled promptly — another county advertised a similar role in December
and when I checked back in June they had only just onboarded — what happens to those dollars? Does the unspent funds get released back into the RFP-eligible pool for the next year
or a supplemental? Are they held for the county's use, or do they sit in reserves? And who makes those decisions?
