I’m reaching out regarding Enhanced Visitor Experience (EVE), a mobile visitor engagement platform I developed to help destinations connect visitors with local businesses, attractions,
history, and experiences. EVE was recently named a Top Visitor Experience App for 2026 by Travel & Hospitality Tech Outlook.
I had previously approached Port Townsend individually about EVE. After looking more closely at Jefferson County’s efforts to coordinate tourism and destination marketing across the
county, however, I believe I may have been approaching Jefferson County from the wrong direction.
EVE may make considerably more sense as a countywide visitor engagement tool.
The platform helps travelers discover attractions, restaurants, lodging, shopping, events, history, and locally curated experiences while they are actually traveling through a destination.
We can also create self-guided experiences connecting communities, historical sites, scenic areas, and local businesses.
For an area such as Jefferson County, that could mean connecting Port Townsend with communities and destinations throughout the county rather than treating each location as a separate
visitor experience.
EVE is already working with Oregon communities, including countywide projects that bring together history, attractions and local businesses. The platform also provides analytics that
can help participating destinations better understand how visitors are engaging with their content.
I would appreciate the opportunity to give you a short Zoom demonstration. It takes about 20 minutes, and seeing the app operate makes it much easier to understand how EVE could complement
the tourism work Jefferson County is already doing.
