to join the meeting live. You will need to enter an email address. If you wish to provide public comment, click
on the hand icon at the bottom of the screen to “raise your hand.” Participation will be up to the Chair and/or
Clerk of the meeting.

JCPRAB Candidate Interview
(Vern arrived 02:10)
The board interviewed Kinnan Murray for District 2 JCPRAB membership.
(25:50) Karin motioned, Diana seconded and all in favor to: recommend to the Board of County
Commissioners that Kinnan Murray become a member of the Jefferson County Parks and Recreation
Advisory Board.
JCPRAB Member Recruitment (28:50)
The board reviewed recruitment ideas for the open District 1 & 2 positions.
SUBCOMMITTEE REPORTS (37:25)
Volunteering/Outreach Update (Susie, Heidi, and Vern)
The board discussed volunteer appreciation ideas for 2027.
Trails (Bob, Susie, Karin, & Vern)
Karin commended Bob’s trail building. Discussion occurred regarding current trail construction and ideas
for future trails.
OLD BUSINESS (46:40)
Parks & Rec Levy Lid Lift
Matt presented the impact and potential uses of the approved Levy Lid Lift on Parks & Rec.
Discussion occurred after. A youth member of the public commended all efforts that supported
youth in the community through the Levy Lid Lift. Commissioner Josh Peters clarified funding
distribution.

The board reviewed next steps – the Parks, Recreation, and Open Spaces Plan update.
