Location: 325 County Landfill Road
Parking: Attendees should pull onto the customer
scales where they will be directed to the parking
area

Submitting Public Comments: Citizens can submit public comments remotely by email regarding items listed in the
agenda below. Board members and staff will read and consider your comments before the meeting. Email your
comments by 12:00pm the day before the meeting using this email address: pubworks@co.jefferson.wa.us
Open Public Meetings Act: The OPMA requires the Solid Waste Advisory Committee to have a quorum (5 members) or
cancel the meeting. It also requires the public to be able to attend the meeting.
Logistics: Transportation is not provided. Carpools can be arranged informally between members in advance of the
meeting.
Safety: Public Works staff will lead attendees through an industrial facility where heavy equipment is being operated
and public vehicles transit between operational areas. To ensure safety, attendees must remain with the group at all
times and exit the facility promptly at the end of the meeting. Attendees will be required to wear high-visibility vests
during the tour- provided by staff.
Dress: This special meeting will not be canceled due to adverse weather and attendees should dress appropriately.
