4. Call for approval of August 19, 2026, Minutes – Moved: Heidi, Seconded: Shannon
5. Reports
• Expenditure Reports – Brenda
• Target 62.5% - General Fund at 61.93%, Other Funds at 45.2%. Discussion of
Mental Health being over – timing issue.
• Revenue Reports – Stacie
• General Fund is at 65.8% of annual budget, on track
• Discussion of General Fund cash balance
• Budget shortfall at $1.225M YTD
• GF Sales Tax projection is $993K under budget
• Construction down 40% YTD
• REET is 1.8% under budget YTD
• Hotel / Motel / Transient is 23.6% over budget YTD
• Federal Reserve announcing rate change at 11AM today – expecting .25%
increase in interest income rate.
• DNR timber is coming in higher this year, expecting little to none next year.
6. Additional topics as determined
• Discussion of upcoming budget deadlines.
• SAO Audit completed, no findings, clean audit. Yay team!
