Courthouse Roof Stabilization Project
Amendment to Grant Agreement
Project # 301 594 1839
Statement of Issue:
This Amendment is to the Grant Agreement with the Department of Archaeology and
Historic Preservation for the above referenced project. It will extend the
reimbursable construction period one year. The new expiration date will be June 30,
2012. This grant is provided through the Washington State Historic Courthouse Grant
Program and is administered by the Washington Trust for Historic Preservation.
Analvsis/StrateQic GoalslPro's & Con's:
This extension will provide adequate construction time to complete the work. The
funding for this reallocation is provide for by both the House and Senate version of
the State Budget, now in processing in Olympia.
Fiscal Impact/Cost Benefit Analvsis:
These grant funds provide a portion of the funding for the Courthouse Roof
Stabilization Project.
Recommendation:
The Board is asked to sign the attached four (4) originals of this Grant Amendment
and return to Public Works.
