We are beginning work on the operations plan/budget in order to be able to apply for the first year of operations cost through the Housing Fund Board RFP process. Sept. 1 Notes - no updates will be part of the HFB  Cameron Jones - Well Organized -  Doing outreach to the Unhoused in Quilcene - who are organizing to do community care, mutual support. Hoping to help them access health care, taking care of injuries etc. We would be willing to set up another remote meeting place at the Quilcene Community Center.  Welcoming Center update - we will be open starting 11-5 from 8:30 - 4:00. Fully staffed. Hoping to have support from other non-profits and the Health Dept. from noon to 4:15 at least during the work week. Also hoping to use Bayside’s dumpster again for a monthly fee.  Well Organized Memo - Documented edited during meeting - and will be sent out.  Housing Fund Board - Continuum of Care conversation - great presentation at last HFB meeting - https://test.co.jefferson.wa.us/WeblinkExternal/Browse.aspx?startid=10556100&dbid=0&repo=Jefferson&cr=1 If the county defers to be the CoC, then historically the lead is Olycap. If Olycap is not going to do it this year - how does the County do the CoC functions? Olycap (Chris) is currently running it. Olycap’s concern is that they have adequate notice so that clients and employees don’t experience loss of services or employment during the transition. The only way Olycap will pursue it again is if no one else does. Structurally it may be better not to have a service provider overseeing other service providers.  Unsure what pieces Olycap is willing to hold on to, operational dollars would need to be attached. The county will be asked mid-January, and the details will need to be worked out, hopefully the decision can be fully flushed out during the 6 months till it becomes real.  Next Meeting: Oct. 6  - 11:15  Hybrid at the Recovery Cafe or Microsoft Teams meeting Join: https://teams.microsoft.com/meet/25378659299171?p=MOWv4jHuEZYBdCL80K Meeting ID: 253 786 592 991 71 Passcode: 9Jt3Ad7J
