As of September 30, PECC's interim leadership transition is complete.
With deep appreciation for the Early Childhood community on the Peninsulas, Victoria Hilt has concluded her role as Interim Regional Lead. She'll see you all in community and continue
to engage with PECC as a coalition member.

October is County Month
October begins the next quarter of PECC's new cadence of meetings beginning with County or the local meetings.
County Month is an opportunity to focus on the needs, opportunities, relationships, and collaborations closest to home. Given current capacity across PECC and the broader network, we
aren't asking people to add another meeting to their calendars.
Instead, connect where connection is already happening. Use existing local meetings, working groups, partnerships, and one on one conversations. Bring regional opportunities, shared
challenges, and resources back to our November PECC meeting where we can connect across counties and, when appropriate, elevate issues through the WCFC network.

Our first hiring focus is the Regional Lead, who will coordinate PECC regionally and serve as our connection to WCFC statewide. First 5 FUNdamentals will continue supporting recruitment
during this transition, and coalition members are invited to help with the Regional Lead selection process.

PECC, Child Care Action Council, and West Sound STEM Network are partnering to offer affordable in person learning and connection opportunities for early learning providers and anyone
who works with young children.
The next two part series is Saturday, October 17 in Port Angeles, featuring Working with Children and Youth that Challenge Us and Trauma Aware Early Learning.
The day includes connection with other participants, a catered lunch, prizes, and stipends for attendance. Classes are $5 each, and no STARS number is required. Enter “0” if the registration
asks for one.

Stay Connected with WCFC and First 5Fundamentals
PECC is one of the regional coalitions connected through Washington Communities for Children (WCFC), and there are ways to participate in statewide work beyond PECC meetings.
WCFC's Childcare Voice and Health Provider Voice opportunities bring people together to help identify priorities, share regional experiences, ask questions, and prepare for the 2027
legislative session.
