Statement of Issue: Public Works staff requests a modification of the scope of work
and budget in the basic agreement with Shearer Design LLC to Include additional
services for Willoughby Creek Bridge Repair.
Analysis/Strategic Goals/Pro's & Con's: This supplement to the existing scope of
work between Jefferson County and Shearer Design LLC is for construction assistance
services for Willoughby Creek Bridge Repair. These services will Include shop drawing
review, environmental monitoring, stream stabilization construction assistance, and
geotechnical engineering support.
FiscallmpactlCost Benefit Analysis: The original, and new maximum amounts
payable are summarized below:

Supplement
This work is funded at 86.5% by the Federal Highway Administration and 13.5% by the

Recommendation: The Board is requested to execute the Supplemental Agreement
with Shearer Design LLC, and return to Public Works.
