McMahon has served the Port for more than five years, most recently as Chief Commercial Officer, overseeing economic and business development, real estate, marketing, and community and public relations. During his tenure, McMahon has worked on economic development initiatives spanning industrial recruitment and expansion, aerospace and advanced manufacturing, maritime industries, commercial real estate, and partnerships with local, state, and federal organizations. “I am grateful for the opportunities I have had at the Port and for the people I have had the privilege of working with,” McMahon said. “I am proud of what we have accomplished together, grateful for the trust placed in me over the past five years and have truly enjoyed the work. The Port plays an important role in Clallam County’s economic future, and I look forward to continuing to work closely with the organization in my new capacity.” As CCEDC Executive Director, McMahon will lead the countywide organization’s efforts to support business growth and retention, entrepreneurship, workforce and economic development, and new investment in Clallam County. “Leading CCEDC gives me the opportunity to continue work I care deeply about while serving Clallam county,” McMahon said. “I am excited to build on the strong partnerships among CCEDC, the Port, local governments, businesses, tribal partners, educational institutions, and other organizations working to strengthen our regional economy.” Current Executive Director Colleen McAleer will remain with the organization through the new year to support the leadership transition.
