Statement of Issue:
A Resolution declaring an Intent to Vacate the following County Road Right of Way:
Keesling Road No. 360009: All that portion of Keesling Road No. 360009 lying westerly of
SR 104, intersecting with Center Road No. 931507 at Mile Post 7.3, lying in the NW 1/4 of

Analysis/Strategic Goals:
The County Engineer has examined this certain County road as to its current viability and
usefulness within the County Road system, report attached. At this time, the road listed
above is considered by the County Engineer to be unnecessary as part of the overall County
road system. This resolution of intent to vacate a portion of the public road will initiate the
formal vacation process, which includes comments from public agencies and adjoining
property owners prior to the public hearing with the Hearings Examiner.
This road has been selected to help insure that existing County roads on the Official County
Road Log continue to receive limited road resources and help reduce unnecessary County
liabilities and manage risk. By using the standard vacation process, the County can determine
that indeed this road is not useful, and it is in the public's interest to vacate it.
