Snow Creek Rd. Culvert Replacement, MP 3.8
Statement of Issue: Execution of grant agreement with Federal Highways (FHWA) for
replacement of a culvert on Snow Creek Road (Forest Highway #43).
Analysis/Strategic Goals/Pro's 8: Con's: Culvert is deteriorated and needs
replacement. Replacement structure will need to meet fish passage standards
required by State law. Public Works applied for this funding through a competitive
program administered by FHWA for Forest Highways. This phase obligates funding for
design only. Construction funds will be made available after design and federal
environmental work are completed.
FiscallmpactlCost Benefit Analysis: Project is fully funded by the grant. No match
is required. Current grant obligation amount is $115,000.
Recommendation: Please sign all three (3) original agreements where indicated and
return to Public Works for further processing. A fully executed original will be sent to
the Board after FHWA authorization.
