STATEMENT OF ISSUE:
Public Works has surplus equipment to be disposed. RCW 36.34.020, 36.34.030,
36.34.340, 36.34.050 & 36.34.090 outline statutory requirements to dispose of
property .
List of equipment attached.
ANALYSIS:
Large equipment to be sold at Stokes and Ritchie Brothers by auction.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Minimal revenue received.
RECOMMENDATION:
Resolution Notice of Intention to Sell.

ON THE INTENTION OF JEFFERSON COUNTY
TO SELL SURPLUS COUNTY PROPERTY
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Jefferson County Commissioners

will hold a public hearing on the 22 day of August, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. in the County
Commissioner’s Chambers, Jefferson County Courthouse, 1820 Jefferson Street, Port
Townsend, Washington, for the purpose of declaring their intention to dispose of surplus
County property, partially described as follows:
Equipment: (various vehicles and miscellaneous equipment) List in Treasurers
office.
Your views for or against the sale of this surplus property are invited by attendance,
representation, or letter.
