M.P. 3.2 to M.P. 3.6. be improved as follows: Reolace a failing culvert and fill with a bridae that meets current desian and safety standards. IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that an appropriation from the officially adopted road fund budget and based on the County Engineer's estimate is hereby made in the amounts and for the purpose shown: PURPOSE PREVIOUS APPROPRIATION PRESENT APPROPRIATION Engineering $ 0 $ 600.000 Right of Way Acquisition $ 0 $ 75.000 Construction: $ 0 $ 2.750.400 TOTAL $ 0 $ 3.425.400 This project is included in the officially adopted annual road program as Item No._. X The project is hereby made a part of the officially adopted annual road program in accordance with R.C. W. 36.81.130. "'--' Department of Public Works o Consent Agenda Page 1 of 1 Jefferson County Board of Commissioners Agenda Request Subject: Board of Commissioners Philip Morley, County Administrator Frank Gifford, Public Works Director ~fJ;t September 6, 2011 Project Resolution for Upper Hoh Road MP 3.2 to MP 3.6 Access Preservation (Bridge) Project To: From: Agenda Date: Statement of Issue: A Resolution adding the Upper Hoh Road Access Preservation Project (new bridge at Upper Hoh Road, MP 3.2 to MP 3.6) to the 2011 Annual Construction Program. Analysis/Strategic Goals/Pro's 8: Con's: Jefferson County has been awarded Federal funding through the Public Lands Highways Discretionary program (PLHD). This project will replace a failing culvert and fill with a new bridge. Fiscal Impact/Cost Benefit Analysis: The estimated project cost is $3,425,400. One hundred percent (100%) of the funding will be provided by the PLHD program. No County match is required. Recommendation: Sign the attached Resolution adding the project to the 2011 Annual Road Construction Program which authorizes Public Works to begin work on the project.
