STATEMENT OF ISSUE:
HEARING NOTICE re: Redistricting the County Commissioner Boundaries; Hearing Scheduled for
Monday, November 28, 2011 at 10:00 am. in the Commissioners Chambers
ANALYSIS:
Pursuant to RCW 29.70.100, the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners will conduct a hearing for the
purpose of taking testimony concerning three options for redistricting (re-aligning) the County Commissioner
boundaries to adjust population based on the 2010 Census, as shown on the following maps. These same
boundaries would also apply to the Commissioner boundaries for the Port of Port Townsend and Jefferson
County Public Utility District No.1.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approve HEARING NOTICE re: Redistricting the County Commissioner Boundaries; Hearing Scheduled
for Monday, November 28,2011 at 10:00 am. in the Commissioners Chambers.

RE-DISTRICTING THE COUNTY COMMISSIONER BOUNDARIES
Pursuant to RCW29.70.100, notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be
held by the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners on Monday, November
28, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in the Commissioner Chambers, located on the basement
of the County Courthouse in Port Townsend, Washington, for the purpose of
taking testimony concerning three options for redistricting (re-aligning) the
County Commissioner boundaries to adjust population based on the 2010
Census, as shown on the following maps. These same boundaries would also
apply to the Commissioner boundaries for the Port of Port Townsend and
Jefferson County Public Utility District No.1. Additional information is available
